Meal delivery program coming this summer

Posted Date: 06/09/26 (09:01 AM)

Families that live in the Warrensburg school district with children ages 3-18 qualify for weekly meal deliveries at no cost this summer thanks to a grant from No Kid Hungry.

From July 6 through August 21, families who sign up will receive nutritious breakfasts and lunches delivered right to their door each Wednesday, including bagels, bread, deli meats and cheeses, vegetables, fruit, milk, and juice boxes.

“The cost of groceries and basic living expenses continues to rise. All of our families are struggling with these costs,” said Superintendent Amy Langworthy, “this program will help Warrensburg families put food on the table and relieve some of the stress around mealtime.”

To sign up for the summer meal delivery program, visit this link or complete and return this printable form. The program is not income dependent and all families that live within the school district with children ages 3-18 are eligible. Deliveries will occur every Wednesday throughout the summer until August 21. A parent or guardian must be available to receive the meals.
